DEPOSIT/ PAYMENT POLICY:
We process your full accommodation charges at the time of booking. In order to check you in, we will require your photo ID (name registered on reservation) and the credit card that you used to book. A credit card pre-authorisation of $100 per day will be processed upon arrival as a guarantee for any incidental charges incurred. Don’t worry, your bank will release any unused portion after you leave (usually 5 to 7 business days).
Samphire Rottnest reserves the right to charge a payment processing fee to cover its associated administrative costs. Payments made by American Express will incur 1.91% surcharge, visa credit card will incur 1.12% surcharge, Visa debit & prepaid will incur 0.60% surcharge, Mastercard credit will incur 0.03% surcharge and MasterCard debit & prepaid will incur 0.05% surcharge
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: For standard reservations: While we know sometimes cancellation of accommodation is unavoidable – in the event cancellation is required the following applies to your booking. Greater than 7 days prior to your arrival date, a $55 cancellation fee per room applies. Between 7 days and 48 hours prior to your arrival date, the first night’s room and tax charges apply. Within 48 hours of your arrival, full payment will be kept. Cancellation of room nights once checked in incur full room night tariffs. Any adjustments or changes made to your booking will incur a $55 administration fee. Please contact the hotel directly for any cancellation or date change requests. Stay date change is subject to rate change and minimum length of stay condition.
FERRY CANCELLATION POLICY: If your ferry booking to Rottnest Island is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, Samphire Rottnest will gladly change the date of your package booking to within 3 months of the initial booking. This booking will become non-refundable at this point in time. If your ferry booking from Rottnest Island is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions and you are not able to leave Rottnest Island, Samphire Rottnest will gladly extend your booking at a 50% discount on the Best Available Rate, with limited housekeeping services. Please contact our friendly reception team to extend your booking.
COVID-19 UPDATE: In the event, there is a COVID-19 related travel ban at your point of departure or at the resort destination that restricts you from traveling to the resort destination, the resort will provide an accommodation only credit voucher valid for 3 months for a pre-paid reservation, rate changes and minimum length of stay may apply. Documents confirming home address will be required.
CLOSE CONTACT AND COVID-19 POSITIVE: In the event, you have been identified as ‘close contact’ or tested positive for COVID-19, the resort will provide an accommodation only credit voucher valid for 1 month for a pre-paid reservation, rate changes and minimum length of stay may apply.
